Wow.. has sex really become that important for us? Couldn’t the man find any ’other’ ways of satisfying his hunger, or does being called a dog credit his murdering her? In the past few months I’ve heard so many incidents of sex-linked murders. It is beyond disgust. Yeah, this really confirms the fact that we’re more evolved than the rest of the animal kingdom..

And she married this man why? There are some serious problems with people today. So sad someone would be killed just for refusing to have sex with their partner.

Hey Taylor, it happened in India. She might not even have met him before the day of her marriage or might have married him when she was 8 years old. It ain’t new here..

Hmm, had no idea. As you know I don’t live in India, but that is still surprising to me. I hear some cases in the US, but there is usually a lot of other things. That is surprising people get married that young. Do the parents get money out of it or something?

You are very right.. Many children are sold in the name of marriage to unscrupulous people... As Rizmyn said, in India it is not uncommon to see strangers getting married because the parents ’want’ them to do so... Arranged marriages are one of the many ugly faces of our country. The incident in question is yet another proof of the sick society we live in and the sickness which we refuse to acknowledge

@Rizmyn, sex unfortunately has always been important to the man, now even urban Indian women are very vocal about it. Regarding killing your partner for refusing sex, has nothing to do whether the marriage is arranged or not, the man’s animal instincts overpowered his judgments.

It is more related with his ego. The wife called him a dog, for his unacceptable demand, and husband couldn’t tolerate that . When you are bought up thinking that you are the care taker of the family, you really can’t hear dissent.

Dictator is the word then...not care-taker. Accept or die eh?

Is it dissent, really? What about calling it physical helplessness to indulge into a heinous act? Heinous as you have already termed it as unacceptable and that’s pretty true. Is sex everything in life or there should some room for love and understanding? Bewildered, shocked, and....., that’s what I feel like.

Welcome to India dear. I know your morals and your surroundings will never allow you to even dream of something like this. But, this is the rural India we are contemplating about. Marriage is sacred, never knew it was so deadly! I feel like smashing the man’s head with a large rock. :X Ok, am sorry for being so blunt and agitated. But, where are heading? I feel like asking this more than once to myself. Really a very disturbing news.

Well mayuri, every one here comdemns the incident, but then look how u r getting carried away by this. Sometime the reasons behind large crimes r small and more many understand that. And i believe this incident has nothing much to do with the indian culture and traditions, its more because of a psychological inbalance in the man’s mind than anythng else.
And if u observe what more skcoking in the picture, shame on the person who took this picture instead of stopping those people fight.

I must say that is insane but I know that type of lifestyle and upbringing is different from mine. It is sad to see this type of thing and I wish that the way of thinking would change a bit. It is sad to see women still do not have rights to say no in this day and age without experiencing a consequence. With this story she ended up paying with her life and her future baby’s life which is really sad. I am sure that he could ”jack off” to get rid of the feeling but then I do not know what is allowed in their culture.

Women in India do have rights. All they need is a little courage, which due to many reasons has not found growth. I mean rural India’s picture is charred when it comes to women rights and conditions. And, this culture actually permits everything. Opportunists deform it more than often and give away a wrong feeling and look to it.

As a matter of fact...I have heard such things happening in other other parts of the world too. So there is no need to generalize it too much. It was a psychological problem which took an unfortunate turn.
Coming to sex, well it is important. No need to blame sex for this.

NO offence meant and no hard feelings guyzz... Indian males have always been known as DOGS.... Now, there seems to be a thin line of difference... it could be a stray dog or it might be a blood hound... I think in this case, the man belonged to the former school of thoughts.

Well at the drop a of a hat women are labelled bitches. How come they don’t resort to murder? And this husband who killed his wife that too a pregnant woman is not a dog he is a devil. Dogs are being insulted by likening them to males. On the flip side animals cannot force sex.

how come this woman never thought of killing her husband for asking for tooo much sex?
